Endorsements Custom Field

As of now, users can be either “Reviewers” (they only receive a notification that a change was made to a success criteria that impacts progress at an Objective level) or “Endorsers” (they receive the notification but they can choose to either approve or reject that change). However, when rejecting the change there is no “rollback” to the progress made by the user requesting the endorsement. It is purely contextual and it can result in confusion if no progress “rollback” is actually made.

At the same time, rejecting or approving does not trigger a notification to the user that made that change. In order to see the endorsement status we need to check the “See Endorsement” button in the Activity log for that objective which results in a lot of clicks and it can be tricky to find that endorsement status.

In essence, both ways of “endorsing” turn out in an initial notification only, and not a true rejection/approval if the Endorser rejected the change.
